What I learned from reading books

Lately this 100 books a year gimmick is on heat. And I personally find it useless, it just like studying a night before exam and forgetting it all the next day. It only wastes your time and some little precious Brian cells.  Why do I think that? And what I actually learned from reading books. 1. Change of point of view through VR Reading book is actually a fascinating experience, it is far more impactful than a movie for when you see something happening, you can change just say “I can see that man dying with grave expressions”  But with reading you can actually feel the pain if only the book is written well and if you get comfortable with that view you would ultimately start to experience it in the regular daily life. As per the non fiction teaches you a lot, in fact I find them quite helpful and revolutionary, have you ever seen those super productive YouTubers from Harvard or Cambridge. Well at some extent they get those ideas and way of thinking from non fiction books beca...

Why you should write dairy as i did

Hello, I hope you are doing well. Two years before, I thought about writing diary as a hobby, I have had tried writing it before but it did not went well, and I lost track, kind of failed this time however I was quite determined and more importantly mature to keep an healthy hobby.
I have been writing it for two years now. And this habit has shown some unexpected results, in the past two years. To be honest, the gain is way too much for the effort I had put in writing.

Chapter 1 – the beginning

At the beginning, it was quite boring to write to keep track of whatever was happening in the daily life. And I was not enjoying it at all, although this time I thought about having different approach. Instead of writing how my day went and what exactly happened in it, I thought about examining the day and to write about my observations instead.
And that magically went well, it was like if i witnessed someone’s break up, I write about the topic break up and take that incident as an example. This approach helped in continuing my writing, because somewhere waits…

Let me explain how it helped me.

  •       While I was trying to describe a particular topic, it kind of helped my understanding about that particular topic. I became quite aware of it, it was an act of self-introspection, what others just left I indulged myself more in that which put me one step ahead from other.
  •       Because now I had more understanding of couple subjects, I was making fewer mistakes, I knew where things could go wrong, and it kind of helped me taking better decision. I was not only learning from my steps but others as well

Chapter 2- the improvement

We all live our life, pretty confident on the way we live and deal with things. Let me be honest, we all are wrong, we think that the way with which we deal with task in our lives is right, however it  is just straight,  and does not gives most convincing results.
How do I know? Because I write let me tell you how.

  •   Another benefit that I this habit was knowledge of the fact that I was doing literally everything wrong, I had wrong diet, I had wrong sleeping pattern, I had wrong study routine, I was now more self-aware.
  •       What I meant by wrong was, if I used to study, I did it in a very wrong way . Which was giving least productive results and It was very depressing after that hard work of hours.
  •     While writing dairy, I thought about the better ways to execute tasks. And it worked very well, my productivity increased a lot, since I was taking less time in doing stuff and yet I did it perfectly and I gain the most convincing results.

Chapter 3the overall development

This sweet only change enhanced every other effect by the simplicity of it, another advantage that I gained from writing logs, was that mentally stable. We all endure a lot in our lives sometimes we burst up, sometimes in tears and sometimes physically. Some people even go through depression or take irrelevant things on heart.
Well logs helped and it pretty obvious let me explain how.

  •   Whenever I write, I put a short note in the end which consist the thoughts of my heart. And kinda helped me again, mind me it just like a short 4 lines paragraph (because if it had overflowed, I had stopped writing)
  •    Basically now I was free, mentally relieved, no distress nothing. Which was pretty refreshing and I would want to feel the same everyday

·        Now I was rational, and I took my decisions with the best of facts, like it made me light.

Conclusion

  1. I shared my experience of writing log or diary; you can try it as well. The results might differ, it might not help you as it did me, because it totally depends upon you, but it will be positive for sure and I can guarantee that sooner or later you shall find the difference in yourself. So here is quite summary
  2. It helped my understanding of concepts and the way of life which made me able to take better decision.
  3.  It made me capable of find a better execution of tasks, which apparently improved my confidence and my productivity etc.
  4.  It made me mentally stable. Indirectly affecting all the advantages I had gain from writing diary.

I used old school, no technologically approach, pen and paper, no laptop. Why let it interfere in the first place. Compare it with a walk in park apart from the industrial area. Thank you , have a good day.
